Born in Toronto, raised in Montreal, spent most of my adult working life in Vancouver before moving to Alberta some years ago. I am a former municipal councillor and mayoral candidate, and someone who stands up and fights for what he believes in…. “In this life, one does not have to stand tall, but one does have to stand up”…. which is what I do.

Furthermore, I am politically engaged, socially conscious, critical of capitalism, and interested in alternative economic and political systems. I am also well-versed in political theory and history, and concerned with issues of justice, equality, and human rights.
